Swim England release dates for 2025 artistic swimming national events

The dates and venues for all four of Swim England’s national artistic swimming events in 2025 have been confirmed.

These highly anticipated competitions will showcase and celebrate the best talent in the sport in the country.

The year kicks off with the GoCardless Swim England Artistic Swimming National Age Group and Youth Championships.

For the first time, the Championships will be heading to the iconic London Aquatics Centre on the weekend of Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March, bringing national-level competition to the nation’s capital.

In 2024, more than 170 athletes from 21 clubs participated, which saw Aquavision and London Regional come away with the prestigious Richard Whitehead and YM Price team trophies respectively.

April sees the return of the headline event in the artistic swimming calendar as the GoCardless Swim England Artistic Swimming National Championships return to Nottingham’s Harvey Hadden Sports Village.

This premier competition will take place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 April where teams will be bidding to lift the coveted Redwood Trophy.

In 2024, City of Salford coach Jessica Fletcher was lost for words after her team’s victory marked a historic first for the club and they’ll be desperate to retain it in 2025.

Swim England’s artistic swimming events conclude with an action-packed weekend celebrating the sport at Sheffield’s Ponds Forge International Pool.

Both the GoCardless Swim England Artistic Swimming Combo Cup and National Masters Championships will be held in South Yorkshire on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July.

First up is the Combo Cup on the Saturday, where Rugby Artistic Swimming Club edged out Salford by a single point in a thrilling finale last summer.

The unique event features only Free Combination routines and brings together entertainment, fun and a very enthusiastic crowd to Sheffield.

On Sunday 6 July, the GoCardless Swim England Artistic Swimming National Masters Championships rounds out the weekend in a competition that welcomes everyone who enjoys artistic swimming.

They’ll take part in a variety of solo, duet and team events with around 200 athletes expected to enter across multiple age groups from 18 to over 80 years of age.

Entry information plus ticket details for each of the events will be confirmed in due course and will be available on each competition’s webpage.
