Training in Catalonia

And don’t forget the Catalan cuisine and the variety of tourist activities to complete your trip. But you’re coming to swim, so let’s get to the point.

Catalonia offers swimming pools for all tastes: first-class facilities perfect for a complete workout.
If you are looking for one near Barcelona, you have a choice: the L’Hospitalet Municipal Pools, a 6,100 meter centre just outside the city, or the Sant Cugat del Vallès High Performance Centre, which has produced swimmers such as Mireia Belmonte. You also have Sabadell Swimming Club, with several indoor and outdoor pools, and the Crol Centre Calella, with an outdoor pool heated all year round, plus a gym, spa and hotel.
If you head to the Costa Brava, there is the Sant Ponç Sports Centre, in the heart of the city of Girona, and the Lloret de Mar swimming pool, with a movable bulkhead, nearby by ideal beaches for swimming.
As for the Costa Daurada, you may train at the Sylvia Fontana pool, located in the Anella Mediterrània, a large sports complex in Tarragona.
Remember that you also have open water itineraries for swimming all along the Catalan coast.
