Live Water Polo U16 Open Inter-Regional Championships 2024
June 28, 2024The U16s Open Inter-Regional Championships take place at the Liverpool Aquatic Centre on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June.
Eleven teams are in action in the event, which is being hosted by the North West and North East Regions.
The event will be contested in two divisions, based on the results from this age group at the U14 inter-regional competition in 2022.
The North West will host Division One which is made up of Ireland, West Midlands Warriors, North West Tigers, South East and South West Sharks.
Competing in Division two will be North East Steelers, Wales, East, London Sharks, East Midlands and Scotland, which will be hosted by the North East.
All five teams in division one will make up one group with each side facing each other once across the weekend at the Liverpool Aquatics Centre.
Division two sees two groups of three with North East Steelers, Wales and East making up Group B with London Sharks, East Midlands and Scotland in Group C.
They’ll go head-to-head within their groups on Saturday at Bolton One Leisure Centre before deciding the winner on Sunday.
