Aberystwyth University have men’s and women’s water polo teams playing in the BUCS leagues.
The university offers a number of elite sports scholarships while the pool and training gym are both based at Penglais Sports Centre.

Aberystwyth University Water Polo Scholarships
Aberystwyth University Water Polo Scholarships are given to students who can demonstrate recent achievement of a high standard in their sport, and a commitment to developing their sporting performance whilst at university.
Scholarships are valued at £500 a year and include free Club Sporty membership of the University Sports Centre for each year of study.
Acceptance of a scholarship also guarantees you accommodation in a University-managed residence for the duration of your course.
Sports Facilities at Aberystwyth University
Students with a Aberystwyth University Water Polo Scholarship will have full access to the Aberystwyth University pool and gym, both of which are based at Penglais Sports Centre.
The pool also includes a saunariam while the gym features a wellness centre cardio theatre, a plate-loaded room, a free weights room, a personal training and female zone and a spinning studio.
