South West land U14 Girls' Inter Regional title
December 7, 2016The South West region landed the 2016 U14 Girls’ Inter Regional title with victory over the Midlands in Walsall.
They dominated Group B on Saturday, picking up a 14-6 victory over the East region before 9-0 and 13-3 wins against the North West and North East respectively.
South West then swept aside Scotland in the semi-finals, racking up a 15-1 defeat of the Group A runners-up.
Hosts the Midlands provided the sternest test in the final, but South West ultimately saw it through with a 13-9 win.
Group B runners-up, the East region claimed bronze, bouncing back from a 7-5 semi-final defeat to the Midlands by beating Scotland 9-2.
